NATO General Secretary Anders Fogh Rasmussen will be in Sarajevo from 7-8 February for an official visit to BiH.

He is expected to meet with members of the BiH Presidency.

This meeting is scheduled to take place at the BiH Presidency Building in Sarajevo at 10:30. Afterwards, Chairman of the BiH Presidency Nеbојša Rаdmаnоvić and General Secretary Rasmussen will address journalists.

The meeting with members of both Houses of BiH Parliament is expected to begin at 11:50 in the BiH Institution, where a meeting with the Chairman of the Council of Ministers Vjekoslav Bevanda will begin at 12:30.

It was announced that General Secretary Rasmussen will meet with leaders of BiH political parities, as well as with representatives of international organizations in BiH (OHR and EUSR).

The Commander of NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo, Brigadier General Walter T. Lord recently said when he was a guest for ‘’TV1 Dnevnik’’ that this is a routine visit for General Secretary Rasmussen in NATO countries and partner countries.

‘’The General Secretary has been planning a visit to BiH for months and this is a good time for a visit’’, said Lord.
