Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Denis Zvizdic announced yesterday that NATO is sending a battalion of reserve forces to BiH.

“NATO is sending a battalion of reserve forces to BiH in support of the EUFOR Althea military mission. A long-awaited and strategically extremely important decision to extinguish secessionist and irredentist ideas and preserve peace and stability,” Zvizdic said on X (formerly Twitter).

Zvizdic‘s message comes at a time when Milorad Dodik once again threatened to declare the independence of Republika Srpska (RS) if the high representative in BiH, Christian Schmidt, intervenes in connection with state property.

“We presented our views and said that BiH should return to the Constitution, to stop interventionism and for foreigners to withdraw,” Dodik said on the “X” social network.
