The Partisan Memorial Cemetery in Mostar was again desecrated by drawing two Nazi symbols at the very entrance to the cemetery.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Herzegovina-Nertva Canton, Ljudevit Marić, confirmed that yesterday at 5.30 pm, during a regular tour of the memorial cemetery, a police officer noticed painted Nazi symbols.

He adds that these symbols were most likely drawn during the night from Wednesday to Thursday.

“An investigation has been carried out and we are looking for the perpetrator. As part of the investigation, video surveillance footage will also be reviewed,” said Marić.

The incident happened 11 months after the National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina – the Partisan Memorial Cemetery in Mostar, was devastated. Even after that event, the perpetrators were not discovered, and the investigation is ongoing.
