Negative Natural Growth was recorded in all Cantons in FBiH

In the Federation of BiH in May, the natural increase was negative and amounted to minus 432, and the vital index (ratio of the number of live births and deaths) was 75.

In the fifth month of the FBiH, 1,266 live births were registered, while 1,698 people died, according to data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics.

Negative natural growth was recorded in all cantons, in Sarajevo Canton minus 56 in May, in Tuzla minus 92, in Zenica-Doboj minus 28, and in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton minus 40. In Western Herzegovina, natural growth was minus three, in Central Bosnia minus 70, Minus 67 in Una-Sana, minus 32 in Livanjski canton, minus 29 in Posavski, and minus 15 in Bosansko-Podrinjski canton.

In May, 844 marriages were concluded in FBiH, while there were 121 divorce.
