Netherlands, Italy and Poland as Opponents of Bosnia-Herzegovina National Team in Nations League

The UEFA Nations League draw was held in Amsterdam on Tuesday, and the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the second season of the Nations League, will have in the Group 1 of League A national teams from the Netherlands, Italy and Poland as its opponents.

Groups of League A

Group 1: Netherlands, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland

Group 2: England, Belgium, Denmark, Iceland

Group 3: Portugal, France, Sweden, Croatia

Group 4: Switzerland, Spain, Ukraine, Germany

The group stage matches of the Nations League are scheduled for September, October and November 2020.

 

The football team of Bosnia-Herzegovina ranks 49th in the new FIFA rankings of the world’s best national teams announced on Thursday, Fena news agency reports.

Belgium comes first, followed by France and Brazil.

The opponent of Bosnia-Herzegovina in the barrage of the Northern Ireland national team is better placed and is in 36th position, while Slovakia is 32nd and Republic of Ireland 34th.
