Delegations of Party of Democratic Action (SDA) and Party for BiH agreed today certain views and they are expected to sign agreement on forming a new coalition in the Federation of BiH in August.
“We agreed many things today, which includes how to secure lacking funds related to IMF, issues of the energy sector when it comes to coal mines, etc.,“ said Vice President of Party for BiH Besim Imamović after the meeting.
They did not discuss positions of members of Party for BiH in the FbiH Government, which Imamović said will be discussed once the future coalition partners sign the agreement.
That can be expected in August, emphasized Vice President of SDA Asim Sarajlić.
“SDA and Party for BiH have almost identical views on future of the country. I believe that SDA and Party for BiH can but do not have to be in a coalition, but their focus will always be preservation of the state,“ said Sarajlić.
Aiming to form a new coalition, he confirmed that SDA is not only looking for Bosniak parties, adding that SDA is also talking to HDZ and smaller parties which should support the reform path of BiH.
Among those smaller parties, apart from Party for BiH, are also BPS and A-SDA, said Secretary of SDA Amir Zukić before the meeting.
“If we want to work on important issues we need a stable political majority of 55 – 59 in the Federation Parliament to solve these issues,“ concluded member of Presidency of Party for BiH Muhidin Alić after meeting of delegations of SDA and Party for BiH.
