The District Public Prosecutor’s Office in Banja Luka confirmed to Fena that Dejan Kostić Dela (35) was killed last night, at around 6:50 p.m., in the parking lot of the “Stara Ada” restaurant in Banja Luka. He was killed by a gunshot.

“Members of the Banja Luka Public Security Bureau have detained several people and criminal proceedings are underway, while a warrant has been issued for one. The investigation into this case is ongoing” the District Public Prosecutor’s Office in Banja Luka states.

The on-site investigation was conducted last night by the on-duty prosecutor of the Banja Luka Public Prosecutor’s Office, Sanja Guzina, who ordered an autopsy and the implementation of all investigative measures.

Unofficially, the murder was preceded by an argument at a private celebration of one of the Banja Luka families in this famous Banja Luka restaurant.

Kostić, who is the former leader of the Football Club Borac ‘Lešinari’ fans, has previously been the target of attacks. In April 2018, he was stabbed twice in the Banja Luka neighborhood of Lazarevo, for which Stefan Kostić was arrested. In June 2022, he was wounded in the Banja Luka neighborhood of Starčevica. He was then taken to the University Clinical Centre with a wounded lower leg, and Nemanja M. is suspected of the attack, but he later surrendered to the police.

Kostić has been arrested several times and convicted of various crimes.
