Hungary’s Wizz Air will operate a flight from Hamburg to Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina from December 14, 2025 on Thursdays and Sundays. A third flight will be operated from April 2026 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This latest route brings the number of Wizz Air’s  direct flights from  Hamburg Airport to eleven destinations.

Hamburg Airport now key Wizz Air hub

The new route highlights Hamburg’s importance as a key Wizz Air hub, according to Gesa Zaremba, Head of Airline and Traffic Development at Hamburg Airport, which is now one of the airlines three biggest German hubs. Wizz Air recently announced plans for more flights in Germany. At the moment, Wizz Air flies mostly to destinations in central and south-Eastern Europe. Flights from Hamburg include Belgrade, Sofia and Bucharest, Hamburg News writes.
