New Mayor of Sarajevo gave Order for Sale of Official Car

Benjamina Karic, the new mayor of Sarajevo, took office today, and immediately made a praiseworthy move.

“Today, I gave an order to sell the black Passat limousine, which was paid for from the budget. I will use other vehicles that will be available and as the ones we all see on the streets of Sarajevo,” said Karic.

She also added that she will not use the set of “rotations” on the official vehicle, because the mayor has no right to do so by law.

It should be reminded that the Ministry of the Interior has previously warned that the City of Sarajevo is not entitled to rotations on official vehicles. Many praised her decision on social media.

“You couldn’t have made a better first decision. Great start to your term. Keep going in this direction,” is one of the comments, Klix.ba writes.
