Bosnian-Herzegovinian karate athlete Emina Sipović won a bronze medal at the prestigious international tournament “Moscow Karate Universe International 2026,” held in Moscow from October 30 to November 1, which brought together competitors from 47 countries.
Sipović participated in the tournament at the invitation of the organizers and secured three victories in the senior under-61 kg category. Following successful bouts against representatives from Greece and Russia, she defeated Belgium’s Maryam Ajaray 3–0 in the match for the bronze medal.
This bronze from Moscow marks yet another valuable achievement in an exceptionally successful season for the Bosnian-Herzegovinian karateka. Building on medals won at the World Karate Premier League in Rome and the European Senior Championships in Frankfurt, Sipović has continued her streak of top-tier performances as the season nears its end.
With this latest success, she has once again confirmed her place among the world’s elite in karate, continuing to represent Bosnia and Herzegovina in the best possible way on the international stage.
