At the meeting in Tomislavgrad, an agreement was reached on the joint participation of the Croatian Democratic Union 1990 (HDZ 1990), the Croatian National Movement (HNP), the Croatian Peasant Party (HSS) and the Croatian Democratic Alliance (HDS) in the general elections to be held in 2026.

The representatives of the parties expressed their joint determination to strengthen cooperation and openness towards all other Croatian opposition parties that want to contribute to the creation of a strong Croatian political bloc. It was emphasized that the goal of this initiative is to build unity, aimed at preserving and strengthening Croatian national interests in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the meeting, basic guidelines for joint political action were agreed both in preparation for the elections and within the current mandate. The participants emphasized the need for a performance with a clear, recognizable program, which will offer concrete solutions for the key challenges facing the Croatian people. Special emphasis was placed on the need for candidates to be outstanding and proven individuals who will enjoy the trust of voters.

It was concluded that it is imperative to create a political force that, after the elections, will have the legitimacy and capacity to actively participate in government at all levels and effectively represent the interests of the Croatian people. The representatives of the parties said that they believe that by acting together they can ensure greater political influence, stability and protection of the rights of the Croatian people in BiH.

Continuation of talks and elaboration of specific program points are expected in the coming months, and the parties have expressed their readiness for more intensive communication and coordination in order to successfully implement the joint project.
