appYoung people often show that they can greatly contribute to society if they are provided with at least minimum requirements. Proof for this is the example of four young man from Donja Orahovica, the Municipality of Gracanica. Amir Avdic (25), Emrah Softic (24), Mirsad Hodzic (21) and Haris Hasic (22) have successfully finished the application iTravel.

iTravel is an application that serves for informing about the time of departure and arrival of buses at a particular location. All you have to do is to download the app from Google Play under the name “iTravel BiH”, then enter your starting and ending locations. The application is completely free and without ads. It contains more than 50 transport companies which operate in the FBiH, and more than 600 regular lines.

“Everyday communication with our students made us realize that passengers are not adequately informed about the timetables and in order to help both them and ourselves, we came up with the idea of this application,” said Amir Avdic, one of the owners of the application.

Everything that users of application iTravel have to do is to input the starting and ending locations for which they will receive the desired information such as departure time, arrival time, the name of the transport company, and thus get timetables for free.

“Considering that we live in an age where technology prevails, we enabled convenient, simple and fast way of informing for our users. “iTravel BiH” is so convenient and easy that a growing number of people that are over 40 years old are using our application, and they said that this application made their trips between the local and the city center a lot easier,” said Avdic.

This is not the first application that these hardworking guys created. The first application that was created is iRadar BiH which contains an interactive map that is showing the active radar detectors in BiH.

“Also, we wanted to change the state of education and we created software, application and server named e-journal, where the parents had better communication with other parents and are able to control if their children have homework on their mobile devices, as well as to see all grades, teacher comments, absences,” says Avdic.

They say that they are working hard on new projects, and they have already completed some of them. Great future is expecting these guys, and many companies are contacting them for cooperation on developing software and mobile applications.
