New Results of the Referendum in RS published?

referendumPresident of the Commission for implementation of the referendum on January 9 as the Day of the RS, Sinisa Karan, presented the first final, but unofficial, results of the referendum on the Day of the RS.

According to him,  680,116 from a total of 1,219,399 voters voted on the referendum, which is  55.67 % of eligible voters.

On the question “Do you support that January 9 is marked and celebrated as the Day of the RS?”, 677,721 citizens voted affirmatively, or 99.81 % of voters who participated in the referendum, according to Karan.

A total of 1,291, or 0.19 %, of voters were against. There was 2,264 invalid ballots. The result of the referendum was declared as valid.
