New school year in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina begins only in the Sarajevo Canton. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, classes will take place in new circumstances. Classes will be held according to a combined model of teaching, which means that one part of the students will attend classes at school, while everyone else will follow online, BHRT reports.

The combined teaching model works in groups with a maximum of 15 students and with a distance of at least a meter and a half between students. Anis Krivic, Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Canton Sarajevo stated:  “We did not change the curriculum, but we adjusted the online teaching. We have also developed a teaching methodology to help teachers, “Krivic said.

Classes in Tuzla and Bosnia-Podrinje Canton were supposed to start today, but classes will start on September 7, successively.
