New Threats from the Kremlin: “One way or the other, History will repeat itself”

European countries would be putting themselves at risk if they accepted the deployment of American long-range missiles there, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in a video released on Saturday.

When asked by Russian state television journalist Pavel Zarubin about the possibility of the United States deploying hypersonic missiles in Europe, Peskov replied:

“We have enough potential to deflect those missiles, but the capitals of these European countries are potential victims.”

Peskov also said that during the Cold War, American missiles stationed in Europe were directed towards Russia, and Russian missiles were directed towards Europe at the same time, which is why the countries of the Old Continent were the main targets of any potential conflict.

“Europe is now falling apart at the seams. This is not the best time for Europe and therefore, in one way or another, history will repeat itself,” said Peskov.
