Azra Muzur, the director of PUC Water and Sewage Sarajevo (ViK) said that they are trying to abolish day-time reductions of water by the end of this year and to reduce the night-time reductions by the middle of the next year.

“In the next year, year and a half, we are trying to completely abolish reductions,” stated Muzur.

She said that this morning (Friday) she received information that the water supply in Sarajevo is improving in comparison to the previous period.

“We are able to abolish the night-time reduction of water in the area of Igman, Pogledine, and Hrid. There will be no day-time reduction in the area of Igman, while day-time reductions in other zones including Mojmilo, Buca Potok, Kobilja Glava and Vogosca are reduced for one hour. We have improved flow from our sources, and we are intensively working on the repair of all malfunctions,” said Azra Muzur, the Director of ViK.

He noted that their teams are on the field and that beside repairs, they are also performing their daily obligations.
