Nikšić: Intensify Cooperation with Albania In Infrastructure, Agriculture and Tourism Sectors

The Prime Minister of the FBiH Nermin Nikšić met with top officials in Albania during a visit to Tirana today, where he attended the signing of an agreement between Energoinvest 110 in South Albania worth 30.5 million euros.

After the meeting last night with the Prime Minister of Albania Sali Berisha, Prime Minister Nikšić met today the President of Albania, Bujar Nishani and the Speaker of the Assembly of Albania Jozefina Topalli.

‘’This opportunity was used to discuss the further progress of economic cooperation and engagement of undertakings from the FBiH to Albania. We received an exceptional welcome, a cordial relationshiop and an open door for all endeavors from FBiH that express interest and possibilities to enter the Albanian market’’, said Prime Minister Nikšić for Fena.

In terms of expansion of economic cooperation, there was a particular focus on the question of investment in the energy sector and cooperation in the area of agribusiness, and one of the areas where potential especially exists is tourism, according to Nikšić.

Albanians are creating an open space and want to attract more tourists to their sea. The middle of last year saw an increase in the number of tourists. 28,000 tourists from Albania visited BiH, while more than 30,000 tourists from BiH visited Albania.
