vlada_mmf_web_foto1The prime minister of the FB&H Nermin Nikšić and the federal minister of finances Ante Krajina received today the delegation of the MMF led by the Head of the Mission for B&H, Ron van Rooden.

The main subject of their discussion led at the headquarters of the Federal Government in Sarajevo were the questions related to the 8th quarterly review by the IV stand-by arrangement that B&H signed with the MMF and which decides on assigning a new loan tranche.

Ron van Rooden pointed out what an excellent cooperation was realised between the MMF and the Government of FB&H which, despite the rough conditions and the recent floods, managed to keep control of the budgetary funds.

The Head of the MMF Mission also expressed his satisfaction with the fact that in FB&H there is numerous laws adopted which have a positive effect on the business environment and that the public consummation is decreased, through the rebalance of the budget for the 2014.

As the federal prime minister Nikšić stated it, the Government of FB&H was dedicated to its obligations from the first day.

“As long as we have this position, we will maintain fiscal discipline and responsibility.” – added Nikšić.
