The Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina have been meeting daily at the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo from March 13.

The team is chaired by BiH Deputy Minister of Defense Mirko Okolic. Heads of organizational units of MoD and AF of BiH at its fifth session, held on Thursday, noted that there were still no coronavirus infected patients in the MoD and the AF of BiH.

Also, the measures taken to date against viruses are analyzed, as well as the engagement of the AF of BiH in the implementation of the Decision of the BiH Presidency of March 18th.

As part of the additional protection measures, as of today, when entering the BiH Ministry of Defense, all persons are required to access body temperature measurements and procedures for hand and foot disinfection.

The main task of the Team is to monitor the situation and supervise the work on taking preventive-medical measures in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH, as well as to provide guidance to the organizational units of the MoD and the AF of BiH.  The team is also responsible for monitoring the movement of personnel in the activities of the MoD and AF BiH held abroad.
