Number of blocked Accounts increased in BiH

A new report on blocked accounts in the Unified Register of Accounts of the Central Bank of BiH states that 99,761 accounts of business entities were blocked in BiH at the beginning of October, and that 54,068 companies have blocked at least one account.

Compared to the previous report, the number of blocked accounts of business entities increased by 328, and the number of companies that have at least one blocked account by 189.

The new report, which contains 4,010 pages, lists business entities from all spheres of social life, from businesses, shops, hairdressers, gas stations, pharmacies, surgeries, cafes and restaurants, to various agencies, cooperatives, companies.

This list also includes mines, local communities, municipalities, sports federations. In the first report of the Central Bank of BiH, published in early November 2012, the number of blocked accounts of business entities in BiH was 58,038, while 35,694 companies had at least one blocked bank account.
