Number of Coronavirus caused Deaths climbs to 35 in Bosnia and Herzegovina

In the past 24 hours, one male patient confirmed to be coronavirus positive at the Clinical Center for Infectious Diseases of the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska entity, according to the UKC RS.

This is a seventy-two-year-old patient from Banja Luka who has had multiple chronic comorbidities, Klix.ba news portal reports.

The patient has been treated at the Infectious Diseases Clinic since March 28, 2020, according to UKC RS.

This case has increased the number of deaths in Bosnia and Herzegovina to 35.

In Republika Srpska, 17 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in the last 24 hours, said Minister of Health and Social Welfare Alen Seranic on Thursday morning.

This increased the number of infected to 365 in RS. Seranic said that among the infected, there is a doctor who was employed at the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska. To date, 13 people have died from the effects of the coronavirus in RS.
