The number of skiers at Jahorina Mountain in the previous part of the season is higher by 36 percent compared to the same period last year, according to the Jahorina Olympic Center.

Last weekend was the most visited so far, and Jahorina Mountain accommodated nearly 20,000 visitors, Biznis Info reports.

This increase of visitors is considered a great success especially when considering the declining number of skiers worldwide.

At Jahorina Mountain, skiers have available all seven installations, 40 kilometers of trails and three training poligons.

The perfect conditions for skiing are announced by the end of February, while the next five days, according to meteorological forecasts, snowfalls are expected that will further improve the conditions for skiing.

OC “Jahorina” has prepared numerous events such as the “Support Life” humanitarian race, which will be held on the Poljica trail on February 24th  at 11:30.

There will also be a great spectacle with concerts by Dragana Mirkovic, Nikolina Kovac and Dejan Petrovic with the Big Band, followed by a female weekend, and a promo weekends with a discount of 20 percent on all ski tickets.
