Record Number of Tourists in July in Federation of B&H again

Tourists in Sarajevo mojportal.baIn July 2015, Federation of B&H was visited by 77.829 tourists, which is for 58.2% more compared to July 2014 and for 3.1% more compared to June 2015.

In July, tourists recorded 170.381 overnight stays, which is for 73.9% more compared to July 2014 and for 14.8% more compared to June 2015.

In a total number of overnight stays, participation of domestic tourists was 18.3% and of foreign tourists 81.7%, as shown by the data of the Federal Institute for Statistics.

According to a type of the accommodation object, the most overnight stays were recorder in the segment “Hotels and similar accommodation“, with a participation of 93.2%.

In the structure of foreign tourists, the most overnight stays were recorded by tourist from Poland (15%), Turkey (8.5), Italy (8.4), Croatia (5.2).

Number of available beds in FB&H in July 2015 was 22.880, which is for 15.4% more compared to July 2014. Net utilization rate of beds at the area of the Federation of B&H was 24.1%.
