Minister of Communications and Transportation of BiH, Ismir Jusko, held on Thursday, the 7th of July, a meeting with the Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of Serbia Rasim Ljajic, at which was presented the project of bicycle trails that will connect BiH, Serbia and Croatia, as announced from the Ministry.
Jusko accepted the project presented by Ljajic, to work on tracing of bicycle trails together with colleagues from Croatia. The trail will go from Belgrade through Sarajevo to Dubrovnik, a distance of 670 kilometers, which would be the first project of this kind in Europe.
Besides Minister Ljajic, Serbian Ambassador to BiH, Stanimir Vukicevic, also participated at the meeting. Except topics from the field of transport and communications, the focus of the conversation was on the digitization process, which Serbia has already completed, which is why it offered its expertise, or people who have worked on their process of digitalization. The prices of roaming were discussed as well.
At this bilateral meeting was agreed to hold a meeting between Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and BiH, where roaming prices will be discussed. This meeting should be attended by representatives of Turkey and Albania in order to involve them in the project.
