The BiH swimmers Amina Kajtaz and Mihajlo Čeprkalo will join the national team of BiH that will participate in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil this summer, stated the Olympic Committee of BiH.
The International Swimming Federation (FINA) notified yesterday the Olympic Committee of BiH that Kajtaz and Čeprkalo achieved the right to participate in the Olympics through the “Universality Places” invitation.
Member of the Swimming Club Velež from Mostar Amina Kajtaz (1996) competes in the discipline 100 m butterfly, and member of the Swimming Club 22nd April from Banja Luka Mihajlo Čeprkalo (1999) in the discipline 1.500 m freestyle.
At the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, BiH will be represented by athletes Amel Tuka, Hamza Alić, Kemal Mešić, Mesud Pezer and Lucia Kimani, tennis player Damir Džumhur, judokas Larisa Cerić, shooter Tatjana Đekanović, and swimmers Amina Kajtaz and Mihajlo Čeprkalo.
Presentation of the BiH Olympic team will be held on July 26 at the Olympic Committee of BiH.
