Portland Trail Blazers NBA player Jusuf Nurkic joined the preparations of the Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) men’s national basketball team yesterday, the Basketball Federation of BiH (FBiH) announced.

Yesterday, the best basketball players of BiH played another friendly match against the Ivory Coast team on Vlasic. Adis Beciragic’s team won the first match against this African team with a score of 95:77.

Beciragic said two days ago that the preparations of the BiH men’s basketball team are proceeding according to plan, and that the coaching staff is satisfied with the approach and engagement of all players.

“Every match and every subsequent training session helps us reach our goal, and that goal is quality and solid play. The game against the Ivory Coast went well for the most part. We hope that we will continue with good games and that we will be able to raise the level of intense play from 20 to 30-35 minutes, which is enough to beat the opponents,” said Beciragic.

Starting tomorrow, BiH basketball players will train in Sarajevo, and on Friday they will go to the Olympic pre-qualification tournament in Poland.
