German Chancellor Merkel gestures as she gives a speech at German sustainable development congress in Berlin

The German Chancellor Angela Merkel will visit the capital of B&H on July 9th; it was confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of B&H.

Currently, the details regarding the organization of the one-day visit of Angela Merkel to Sarajevo are being discussed.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of B&H, Igor Crnadak, said that this is one of the most important visits to B&H since the establishment of the current government in our country.

“It is a country that had a key role for the so-called new European approach to B&H. At the same time, Germany is one of the strongest and most influential European countries. I expect this visit to be a support to our efforts in entering reforms and to primarily work on seriously solving the economic and social problems’’, said Crnada.

In the end, he added that he hopes that this assembly of the government will remain remembered for improving the lives of all the citizens on every inch of B&H by the end of the mandate.
