London’s Chelsea agreed with Stoke transfer of their goalkeeper Asmir Begović for 11 million EUR.
B&H representative will arrive at Stamford Bridge as a replacement for Petr Čech, who is transferred for the same amount of money to the city rival Arsenal.
Begović will sign with Chelsea a contract worth 5.5 million EUR per season, on several years.
Jose Mourinho wanted to bring Wolfsburg’s goalkeeper Diego Benaglija to the “Bridge”, but eventually a guy who brilliantly kept goal in the UK for past five seasons will arrive.
Transfer period starts on Wednesday.
