CensusAgency for Statistics of BiH will organize presentation of the results of the census of population, households and apartments in BiH on Thursday.

The results of the census of population will be published on time, as it is required by the law, until the 1st of July this year.

After months of disagreements on the adoption of unified methodology for processing the data of the population census, which also caused certain political issues, the results will be presented on Thursday.

“In accordance with the Law on the Census, results from all areas of the list, for which the data is collected, will be presented,” as emphasized from the Agency for Statistics of BiH.

To recall, there is still no unified position on the processing of the census results in BiH, because Republika Srpska does not want to accept the adopted methodology of data processing due to the disagreement on the treatment of resident population.

However, from the Agency for Statistics of BiH and the Federal Bureau of Statistics emphasize that everything was done in accordance with the law and that BiH will have an internationally recognized census results.
