Sani Čampara, a young basketball player from Sarajevo youth basketball club ”Spars 05” and the new hope of B&H basketball has won the pioneer national championship of B&H in the season of 2011/2012. He also witnessed the success of the junior generation of his club when they won the Euro League tournament in Rome.
Čampara talked about his beginnings, the development of OKK ”Spars 05” and about his future in this sport.
”OKK ”Spars 05” does outshine all other clubs because they have a good group of players. Since the day I came to this club, I have improved my play. In comparison to other clubs in B&H, OKK ” Spars 05” gives opportunity to young basketball players by securing great conditions for improvement. The training sessions are excellent as well as the conditions we work in.”- said Čampara.
Čampara also emphasized that the strength of this basketball team mirrors in the youth and the potential of players and coaches.
” I plan to train hard, to invest more effort in order to win more trophies for my club. I would love to play in the NBA team ”Miami Heat” one day, because my idol is LeBron James. In Europe, I would like to play for the Spanish club.”- concluded Čampara.
In the following period, the junior team of OKK ”Spars 05” will play a final tournament of the youth Euro League in London.
