NATO headquarters in Sarajevo is continuing the successful cooperation with the Olympic Committee of B&H on the realization of the “Winter Olympic Academy”, which is being held this week in Sarajevo.
30 high school students from B&H, from 14-18 yeas old, coming from Višegrad, Prijedor, Olovo, Jajce, Livno, Brčko, Doboj Istok, Foća and Fojnica, selected on the basis of academic success, will participate in this project.
High school students will enjoy sport and educational events prepared by the Olympic committee B&H during this week, and will have the chance to learn more about universal Olympic values.
The exceptional value of this project is to contribute to the achievement of basic values that connects NATO country members, such as democracy, individual liberty and rule of law.
General Merle Hart met with participants of the academy yesterday, and his Deputy Colonel Ole Fauske visited today the ice hall in Zetra, where participants of academy were at the time.
