On the Independence Day of BiH, Sarajevo got the Viewpoint on Trebevic

Sarajevo got one of the most representative modern architectural facilities, the cult Viewpoint (in Bosnian: Vidikovac) on Trebevic mountain.

According to the City Administration, the construction works have been completed, and this is a complex building with different contents for all generations, divided on a total of three floors dominated by a monumental spiral staircase.

The newly built Viewpoint, as they state, can compete with any world complex, and will remain recognizable by its spacious and passable flat roof, accessible to all future visitors. Besides indoor facilities, a public space, suitable for different cultural events, mini-concerts, literary evenings, and exhibitions, has been created.

As was the case with the revitalized Trebevic cable car, there is no dilemma, as the City Administration emphasizes, that Viewpoint will prove that the investment is completely justified.

”Symbolically, on today’s date, historically important for our country and its capital, from Trebevic, a place that is one of the symbols of defense of Sarajevo, we present a new capital project that remains a legacy to all its citizens. The best way of marking Independence Day is by proving the hard and dedicated work, the achieved results of the current government, and the renewal of the symbols of the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). Our sign of respect for the only homeland of BiH is to revitalize the symbols of the capital city and invest in development projects that have built and continue to build themselves, ” it was announced in yesterday’s statement.
