This year, Mostar also joined the worldwide campaign “One Billion Rising”.
A dance performance was organized on the Spanish Square in which several hundred girls from several dance groups took part with the message “Enough with violence!”.
“One Billion Rising” is the world’s largest campaign against violence against women and girls, launched to raise awareness and create change through art, community and dance.
Every year, millions of people around the world stand up and dance to send a clear message: “Enough with violence! It’s time for justice, safety and freedom for all women, girls and girls”.
