A newborn left by an unknown person on Friday night in Zivinice was rescued and taken care of at the University Clinical Center Tuzla.

The newborn was left in the box in which he spent the whole night, and thanks to residents of Zivinice, it was discovered in time and saved before Saturday’s rain.

It is assumed that the newborn was not older than a day, and that he was hungry and cold.

He is currently being cared for at the University Clinical Centre Tuzla and as Avaz news portal find out, his health condition is stable. Police officers and employees of the Center for Social Work in Zivinice were informed about the event, Vijesti.ba news portal reports.
