ahmDirector of the company HIFA Petrol and co-owner of the HIFA Group Hajrudin Ahmetlić said last night at the Business Café in Sarajevo that one can truly have a successful business in BiH, but it takes a lot of hard and honest work.

Ahmetlić emphasized that everyone who wants to launch their owne business must be prepared to hard work for at least seven years. During this period, there are no trips, vacations and many other social activities. In order to succeed in business, one must have by their side the hard-working, capable abd intelligent people, and there is a lot of that potential in BiH.

Ahmetlić talked about how he started a business three times – first in 1983, then in 1995 and eventually in 2001. He said he does not regret it because it takes will, ambition and vision to succeed.

Furthermore, Ahmetlić said that with a lot of effort, work and support from his family he found himself in a situation where he feels like every day is Saturday, after a period of 15 years when every day felt like Monday.

Ahmetlić said that three companies from the HIFA Group are now among the 100 most successful companies in BiH in terms of turnover and income and that, with respect for all legal obligations towards the state and workers, owners also have a nice income.
