An Afghan citizen was wounded in the shooting that took place today in the area of Bentbaša in Sarajevo, it was confirmed in the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of Sarajevo Canton.
The injured person is being treated at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, and he sustained an injury to his right leg.
The shooting was reported to the police around 6:00 p.m.
The police state that, according to currently available data, there was initially a physical conflict between several men, migrants.
“As a result of the physical conflict, one of them used a firearm and injured another man, a citizen of Afghanistan,” said the cantonal MUP.
