Director of the Tax Administration of FBiH Serif Isovic said that this system provides information to the Tax Administration of FBiH on whether the company is operating according to the law, or whether they perform the calculation and payment of contributions.

Isovic added that for those employers who, due to reports of workers, the Directorate establishes that they are not operating in accordance with the law, legal measures will be undertaken.

Prime Minister of FBiH Fadil Novalic explained that this activity falls within the Reform Agenda under the item fiscal policy, taxation and budgetary stability, and that is important as a measure towards transparency within the fiscal system.

He emphasized that employees will be able to put pressure on employers to pay their obligations on time, which will also equalize employers in some way, because some of them are paying their obligations regularly, and some of them not at all, thus gaining an advantage on the market.

Director of the USAID Mission to BiH, Peter Duffy, said that this is an example of how technology can enhance transparency and make the institutions more efficient.

Detailed information about the system is available on this website and you can check contributions HERE.

The system was established as part of USAID’s project of support to the reform of the fiscal sector.
