The delegates of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina should, at their session on Monday, July 31, in abbreviated procedure, consider the Proposal of the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Treasury in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This bill, proposed by the FBiH Government, was adopted by the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament at its session on July 25. The reasons for adopting amendments to the Law on Treasury in FBiH are harmonization with the Law on Budgets in FBiH and the Law on Internal Audit in the Public Sector in FBiH.

Consideration of the proposed rebalancing of this year’s budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is planned, however, there is a possibility that this item will be removed from the agenda, considering that the FBiH Government withdrew it for revision at the session of the House of Representatives on July 25.

Delegates should also express their views on the Draft Law on the Protection of Civilian Victims of War in the Federation of BiH, which was adopted by the House of Representatives of the PFBiH on July 25. It is about one of the most important laws which, as explained at the time, should restore pride and dignity to civilian victims of war after 28 years.

Consideration of the Framework Budget Document of the FBiH for the period 2024-2026, and the set of energy laws adopted by the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament at the session on July 6, is also planned.

It is about the Draft Law on Energy and Regulation of Energy Activities, the Draft Law on Electricity in FBiH and the Draft Law on the Use of Renewable Energy Sources and Efficient Cogeneration.
