Open Call for Young Entrepreneurs for BIZOO – Business Startup Accelerator

posao-mladiHead of the USAID mission in BiH David Barth and the President of the Center for Youth Employment – YES Edin Mehić today in Sarajevo, they will mark the beginning of BIZOO – Business Start-up Accelerator, a network of BAN (Business of Angels Network).

This is about two new programs supporting young people who want to develop their business ideas with the help of information and communication technologies into viable business opportunities.

These two programs are intended to support entrepreneurship and employment of young people in BiH in accordance with the demands of the market, to strengthen the competitiveness and productivity of small and medium enterprises through the efficient use of ICT.

The programs will be implemented in partnership with the Center for Youth Employment – YES in context of five years project “Partnership for Innovation” funded by USAID in BiH.

The program will provide a number of trainings, mentoring, and the involvement of the successful entrepreneurs who will share their experience with young people and develop their ideas leading to proven experience in managing companies and the actual situation on the market and its requirements.

BIZOO, Business Start-up Accelerator aims the training of young entrepreneurs to start their own business ventures and provide them with first round of mentoring and organizational support.

Also, the goal of this program is to serve as a base for activities of BAN network, allowing investors to contact the Start up that are ready for the second phase of the investment, which reduces the risk for investors and increases the chances for investments in BiH.

Along with BIZOO Business Start-up Accelerator program, BAN networks (Business of Angel Network) will provide support and funding for start-up in the initial phase.

The network will connect the local and foreign investors with potential young entrepreneurs who want to develop their business idea or to expand and improve an existing business project.
