Opened the 11 West Herzegovina Fest

siroki-brijegLast night the concert of the groupS.A.R.S. from Novi Sad opened in Široki Brijegthe 11WestHerzegovinaFest(WHF), which will be heldfor three days.

Tonight is the secondevening of the festival, and will perform the band “Majke”, and the festival will close with the band “Leto Štuke”, on Saturday 3rdAugust.

During the official part ofthe program this year will be distributed award prizes for three categories:film, music, and the categoryof short stories.

During the official program of the festivalwill take place 21shortfilms,23short stories,andwill perform12bandsfrom whichthe jurywillchoose the best.

Theapplications for all categories have beenreceived fromall over the region, evenfrom the United States.

Even this year, in addition to the competitive part, there will be afine artsprogramandas well as entertaining program, and to the audience will be introduced the comediansNivesBuzaljko, MateGrbavac, OmerHodžićandMirandaLončar.

WestHerzegovinaFest is launched in 2003 with the aimof promotingcreative expressionof young people inHerzegovina, and over the yearshasgrown into a regionalfestival, that eachyear gathersa large number ofnew and famous artists.

Every year the festivalattracts more than10.000 visitors.
