Opening of “Winter Magic” soon in Sarajevo

This year, the Skenderija Center celebrates its 54th year of existence and work. From December 1, 2023 to March 2024, the Skenderija Center announces “Winter Magic” with two ice rinks.

Sarajevo residents and all visitors to the city will be able to enjoy the largest open and closed ice rink in Bosnia and Herzegovina and numerous accompanying facilities.

Thanks to its rich content, which awakens a special mood in the visitors in the winter period, the event is rightly called “Winter Magic”.

This year’s open ice rink has an interesting look and shape with very attractive light decorations. It represents an exceptional opportunity for socializing, it represents a winter tourist story as well as the spread of positive energy that everyone really needs.

A special attraction at the “Winter Magic” this year will be the “Luna Park”, which will complete the winter idyll on the Skenderija Plateau with its content.

Also, this year something completely new will be organized on the ice rink: the Curling School and curling competitions, where experts from this Olympic sport will pass on their knowledge to interested fellow citizens.

The rink will cover 600 m2 with New Year’s decorations that will complete the ambiance.

The second part of the “Winter Magic” will be held indoors, in the Mirza Delibašić hall with an ice surface of 1,800 m2, where speed and figure skating competitions and hockey competitions will be organized.

Competitions celebrating the 40th anniversary of the 84 Winter Olympic Games will be recorded.

The Center of Skenderija invites fellow citizens to visit the “Winter Magic” and enjoy the contents they have prepared for them.

“This will certainly be one of the most beautiful locations in our city, and we know that visitors will be able to make the most of their time this winter,” the statement said.

The opening of “Winter Magic” is scheduled for December 1 at 6 p.m.
