”Prime Minister Radovan Viskovic‘s claim that thanks to the authorities in Republika Srpska (RS) we have 10 times cheaper gas than in Europe is at the level of his well-known statement that a man can last a month and a half without food, water, and drink,” said Aleksandra Pandurevic, a member of the SDS Main Board.
He forgot to say something
Pandurevic notes that Viskovic forgot to say that citizens in that entity also have 100 percent more expensive gas compare to the one that households in Serbia pay for.
”Unlike Serbia, which really has the most favorable gas prices and whose citizens are not faced with an increase in the price of this energy source, and which also provided 500 million cubic meters in warehouses in Hungary, we only have colorful lies from our government. We don’t even know if there will be gas or if we will be able to pay astronomical prices. Compared to July last year, the price of gas has risen by 80 percent, and it is quite certain that it will go up again by the end of the year,” Pandurevic pointed out.
Dodik’s promise
She reminded that only a month ago, Milorad Dodik promised that the RS entity would have the cheapest gas in Europe.
”I do not believe that it is a mistake in the translation or that President Putin did not keep his word. It is clear that Dodik lied to us. I’m just afraid of how many bills we’ll get after he takes another pre-election selfie with President Putin,” stated Pandurevic.
She noted that instead of colorful lies, the prime minister was expected to draw up a subsidy plan for heating, at least for socially vulnerable categories of the population, Avaz writes.
