An orange warning will be in effect in most areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina tomorrow, due to the expected heavy rainfall and an increase in snow cover.
The expected amount of precipitation is between 30 and 60 liters per square meter, in the south and southwest up to 80, and in some places in the northern regions of Herzegovina up to 100 liters per square meter.
By Monday, January 5, in the morning, 10 to 30 centimeters of snow are expected, and in mountainous areas up to half a meter, meteorologists announced.
In mountainous areas, strong winds will blow, which will create snow drifts.
On Monday, precipitation will be weaker with a smaller increase in snow cover, and new heavier precipitation is expected on Tuesday, January 6.
