Orašje: Third Day of Blockade of Border Crossing

ORAŠJE: BLOKIRAN GRANIÈNI PRIJELAZ ORAŠJE-ŽUPANJADue to the failure to pay incentives in the last two years, farmers from Posavina Canton have been blocking the border crossing in Orašje with their agricultural machines.

This morning, the border crossing was open until 08:00 for personal vehicles and in cases of emergency. Afterwards, the border crossing was blocked again, but does not apply to emergency cases.

Representatives of the Associations of Farmers of Posavina Canton responded to the call of the FB&H Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić and went to a meeting in Sarajevo in order to try to find a solution to the situation.

The farmers hope for a positive outcome, and for the blockade to end today. Otherwise, the protests and blockade will continue.
