Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that Europe is getting more and more involved in the conflict in Ukraine, from which it can gain nothing, but can lose a lot.
“Living in a bubble, the Brussels bureaucracy has made several political mistakes in recent years. Europe is getting more and more involved in a war from which it can gain nothing but can easily lose everything. Every day it is more and more obvious that when it comes to war, nothing is too expensive for them,” said Orban.
The Hungarian Prime Minister also said that the Brussels bureaucrats want that war, they want to defeat Russia, they want the money of European taxpayers to go to Ukraine all the time, while at the same time European companies suffer sanctions, inflation jumps, and millions of citizens are in a difficult position.
“Europe is in crisis, Christian civilization is weakening, economic power is declining, and so is the competitiveness of the Old Continent. Europe’s ability to represent its own interests in international politics is also declining,” he concluded.
Previously, Orban stated that Western countries are getting closer to the front line and are directly interfering in the conflict in Ukraine. However, as he said, in such a situation, Hungary will not participate in the NATO mission in Ukraine, nor will it provide troops, weapons or financial resources for that purpose, N1 writes.
