Residents of Sarajevo commented on whether they feel safe

While the citizens of Sarajevo are worried about their safety, the authorities claim that the safety is at a satisfactory level.

In the past period, we have witnessed terrible crimes throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), so citizens were asked if they felt safe.

“I’ve been here for three months, and I’ve been in the West for nine. I love coming here, but the security is much better there. It’s quite uncertain here. Too much is happening, we read, more than in the West. I am not afraid, but I feel sorry for the youth, future generations. My children only come here as tourists and run back,” one citizen said.

Other citizens have a similar opinion.

“There are all kinds of things here. There are tares in every grain. It must be cleaned, so that the tares do not remain”.

“The security situation in Sarajevo is gray. I think the police are doing their job, but I think the law is the problem because it doesn’t deal with prevention”.

“I’m not going anywhere, I’m here with my children in Alipasino. (precisely because of the children, aren’t you afraid?) Well, I am not.”, N1 writes.
