New Year’s celebration in Mostar went on without major problems and the night passed without any police interventions.
According to police estimates, there were more than 15,000 people at the New Year’s Eve outdoor celebration on Mostar’s promenade.
“The open-air event and other celebrations went on without any incidents., There were no interventions by the police,” Ljudevit Marić, a spokesman for the Ministry of the Interior of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton told FENA.
Police officers who worked on New Year’s Eve took care of the safety of citizens and guests in Mostar.
