Aid packages containing basic food and hygiene items will be distributed on two occasions, the Federal Directorate of Commodity Reserves said. Transport of packages started yesterday from Una-Sana Canton (USC), through the Tuzla Canton and Posavina Canton, and then moved towards the south.
Previously, the Red Cross was in charge of distributing aid packages, and meetings were held with volunteers who will help distribute aid packages to socially vulnerable families.
To recall, this is the decision made by the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) in July – that packages worth 500 BAM will be distributed to 16.935 families in the Federation, all because of the increase in the consumer price index.
