13183044_1176299645754323_1731172513_nAlthough it was previously announced that a part of the Panama Papers will be published on the official webpage of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) at 8 p.m. tonight, one company and one person connected with offshore companies can already be seen in the database.

The mentioned company is Alumina from Zvornik and the person is Vid Jakšić from the same city, which was known to the public as of before.

The ICIJ obtained the data that Vid Jakšić from Zvornik was director of the corporation PostMet, registered in one of the tax havens. This company was founded in 2004 and stopped operating in 2009.

The company was founded with the help by the Russian corporation Global Wealth Management Center Limited, specialized in establishing offshore companies and which helped in registering more than 300 offshore companies. So far, it is not known in which tax haven Jakšić registered his company, but the Russian mediator mostly did business with tax havens in Seychelles or the British Virgin Islands.

Regarding Alumina, the ICIJ journalists discovered that it is one of the stakeholders of the corporation Viewside Markets Inc., founded on March 30, 2006 and still active. This corporation is registered as a joint stock company through a mediator from Ireland – the company International Offshore Services Group, led by Philip Burwell. In the past 30 years, the IOS registered more than 2.000 offshore companies.
