Person who threatened Banja Luka Mayor was arrested

A person with the initials I.A. was arrested in Banja Luka for threatening Mayor Draško Stanivuković, Srna news agency was told by the Police Administration.

“Members of the Banja Luka Police Administration last night deprived the person I.A. from Banja Luka of his liberty, whom the person D.S. had reported immediately before that he had threatened him,” the Police Administration stated.

Immediately after receiving the report, the person was found and criminal proceedings are underway against him.

All measures and actions are being taken under the supervision of the Banja Luka District Public Prosecutor’s Office.

The Mayor of Banja Luka announced last night on social media that a person with the initials I.A. had attacked and threatened him while he was walking on Banj Brdo, and that he had reported the case to the police.
